 Last week, I saw a cat with iris melanosis. Actually, it came with vomiting. But owner asked me about the eye also. The cat is around 9 years old and owner noticed that there has been color changes in his left eye.
She wonder what it is.

 22 Apr 2026: I had a good Express Haircut at Starsbox Indonesia, Mega Mall, Batam Centre on my last day of tour in Batam. The Express Haircut includes haircut, hair wash, tonic, shoulder massage and styling pomade cost 120,000 IR or S$8.90. It was done by an experienced barber as many of my friends complimented me on the haircut. I was surprised that my eyebrows were trimmed as the average barbers in Singapore would have done it. Monday

The Harbourfront ferry terminal connects passengers to locations in Indonesia including Batam and Bintan. The young ferry services staff was polite, happy and helpful when my group enquired about checking in tickets.

I would like to highlight The Anur Cafetaria in this terminal. It has a friendly and helpful man called Faisal, 36 who served food and beverage efficiently.

Customers need to embark on ferries and hence need quick and fast attention. He ensured no customers wait more than a few seconds as he quickly prepared the food and drinks they ordered.

One outstanding character about Faisal was that he was very kind when I asked for water as I needed to take oral medication. He didn't charge me for a plastic cup of warm water as he could have told me to buy a full bottle of water. I was waiting for my ferry to Batam gates to open after 9am.

I thank him for his kindness to a Senior via this post and wish him many more years of good health and happiness with his family in Johor.

The staff named Faisal, 36 who wore a black skull cap (white cap would be easily dirtied) went to Mecca last year from Johor and explained to me what was involved in carrying out the haj. He offered me a cup of warm water free for me to take my oral medication. He could have asked me to buy a bottle of water.

In this situation, my trip to Batam was "fruitful" in my understanding of the haj.

SINGAPORE - 16 APR 2026: 9am. Yio Chu Kang Crescent forest. The Common Palmfly (elymnias hypermnestra) butterfly is commonly seen in Singapore. Its larvae feed on various types of palms. Its underside of wings is speckled brown while the upperside is bluish-black with blue submarginal spots.
