Today is 2 Jun 2023---Vesak Day

 Vesak Day commemorates the birth, enlightenment and attainment of nirvana of Siddharta Gautama Shakyamuni (Sakyamuni) Buddha.  The day falls on the full moon of the fourth lunar month.

PHOTOGRAPHY TIP 2: Bird high up the tree. USE SHUTTER PRIORITY TV MODE.

Vesak Day. 2 Jun 2023, 8.39 am. Lentor Place Playground, Singapore.  This yellow-vented Bulbul chirps in sets of 3 tweets for over 1 minute for my photography.

Yaya decided on morning walk with me today to Lentor Place Playground. I heard loud chirps but couldn't see this bird till it flew off from the railing of the fitness machine 15 feet in front of me. I was looking for it in the tree branches up above me. It landed high up on another tree much further. Would you believe that it perched for over a minute chirping in sets of 3 tweets and posing patiently for me to take a good photo. Usually, birds do not stay for a few seconds. But this one stayed for over 1 to 2 minutes on a tree branch nearly 2 storeys high. Photo for you.
