No perching birds on the tree opposite my exercise machine. However two mynahs dropped by to my rigt, walking on the grass for a short time. I had my zoom lens and got the photos

Zoom lens is important to capture the photo of the Mynah.

No bird perching on the branches in 99% of my
morning exercises. A zoom lens is essential to
capture the distant images.

The abdominal trainer machine (left) is where I exercised first.
It is 11 strides away from the tree, about 33 feet away.
On Christmas eve, a brown pigeon appeared on the bifurcation of the tree
opposite and to the left for less than one minute. I was unable to
focus on it as I did not have the zoom lens
