"No more sightings of birds perching on the branches of the tree opposite and to my left of the public exercise machine," I had given up hope since my first sighting many months ago. So I did not change my Canon 18 - 135 mm lens which cannot focus on birds far up the tree. See image of tree, but my exercise machine is not visible. It is around 11 strides to the tree.
A small bird with white underbody flew from the tree overhead past me. That was surprising. Soon a small brown pigeon perched on the upper fork of this tree. I grabbed my camera to take a photo but the focus was blurred. All 3 images were blurred and so I deleted them.
A zoom lens 55 - 250 mm would have been great but I had stopped replacing the 18 - 135 mm lens during morning exercise as no birds appeared for the past weeks.
Illustrations of the previous sighting of the orange-breasted pigeons perching on the same tree for me.
