3388. INTERN. OVOCENTESIS. A red-eared slider cannot lay more eggs. What to do?

Settings:  Singapore's Sengkang West. Suburban. New estate

X-rays showed 4 eggs. Ruby, the 2.5-year-old red-eared slider had laid 2 well-formed eggs of around 5 cm long and then a broken-shelled egg later. Stopped eating 

So the owner brought to Toa Payoh Vets


Today, 11.30am  Dec 30, 2018, 2.5 kg

X RAY

Oxytocin  15 IU (1.5ml) given.   I gave 0.5 ml IM, 1.0 ml SC.  
Calcium gluconate   32.6 Calcium gluconate/ml. I gave 0.2 ml IM
