5918. PHOTOGRAPHY TIPS: Sunset and oil slicks in Palawan Beach on 16 Jul 2024.

PHOTOGRAPHY TIPS: Sunset and oil slicks in Palawan Beach on 16 Jul 2024.

A dredger (Vox Maxima) hit a stationary bunker vessel (Marine Honour) at Pasir Panjang Terminal on 15 Jun  2024, causing oil to leak into the sea. Palawan beach is not affected by black oil contaminating the shoreline with foul oil smell, but many customers cancel their F & B reservations at Palawan Beach. Swimming was banned. Oil slicks removed and put into the white trash bags (see images below).  Tanjong Beach was severely affected. Siloso beach was affected.
