Hard Rock Hotel Desaru Coast’s 6th floor breakfast setting for elite room guests. 13 Jan 2024, 8.32am

I placed my camera on the table so as to get a sharp image of the saxophone. I used AV Mode.

The cutlery and plate placement are in proper order, presenting a pleasing image, unlike the common breakfast table for the mass in which this type of setting will not be appreciated. The servers have had been trained as elite room guests enjoy such settings. For the masses, the cutlery is placed in any order if the server is left to his or her own!

I worked in a Scottish Dunoon hotel serving food to packaged tourists during my undergraduate vacation, hence I had to set the table for meals and appreciate this table setting for the elite room guest.

 The Asians and most heartlander Western people will not appreciate such a proper breakfast table setting of cutlery and napkins. The servers are well trained to position the fork and spoon (right side of plate) in order. There is no knife, otherwise, the spoon should be placed above the plate. I worked as a waiter in my undergrad vacation in a hotel for packaged tourists and had to set up the table. In those days, some packaged tourists do give tips to the waiter who served the table. Nowadays, Singapore's packaged tour company factored the tips in the sales price!
