PHOTOGRAPHY TIPS: "The Climb", Ciment fondu sculpture by
Ng Eng Teng, 1987.
Canon R5, AV, ISO 200, 24mm, f/11, 1/125
sec. Sunny morning. Focus on 'eye' of boy on R.
Try not to have
pedestrians in the background or anywhere.
Less crowds walking past statues when you take photos at around 9am. I took several shots, some with people in the background or walking towards me. These were of no use.
I was at the right place at the right time to meet for
breakfast appointment at Starbucks at 9am. Previous photos of this
sculpture were of poor quality as they were taken during noon time
and harsh sunlight.
*Whenever practical, take photos of
statues in 9am bright sunny morning. No human or less human traffic.
I nearly didn't take the photos as I didn't have good quality
images.
