3319. Nature stories. Past 3 days. Red whiskered bulbuls, brown lizard, pink-necked green pigeons

1. Today is Wed May 8, 2019. Drizzling. Overcast. Few birds around. Where they shelter from the rain?

Crow seen. Pink-necked green pigeons 5 of them on top of a tree.
Migrant worker in garbage area throws rice on roadside. White and grey pigeon x 2 seen. Later, a small spotted dove juvenile and around 3 pigeons came.

2. Tues May 7, 2019. Bright sky.
Red-whiskered bulbuls couple seen. As I got nearer the tree, they flew off.

Bright sun rays revealed a brown lizard with very long tail on tree branch. Several minutes of lying still on this tree branch to eat the insects.
Flies, butterflies, bees around this tree. This is the Oriental Garden Lizard or Changeable Lizard (Caloptes versicolor). It changes its colour to dark brown when threatened.

Young female PNGP perched on tree top nearby
Two young pigeons hide inside the same tree as bulbuls, flying off now and then as in past few days.

3. Mon May 6, 2019. Bright sky.
Sunshine on two nests on tree top. I was looking for nests.
Many birds.
