3442. Red eared slider, F, 19 yrs. No appetite for over 1 month, painful left hind flank

Bites when left hind flank is digitally pressed
Lethargy over 1 month
Egg laid 2 x per year
Last batch of 8 eggs laid in Nov 2018.

X rays - no eggs but radiodense matter in abdomen.  Suspected impacted intestines leading to constipation and infection.


MAR 4, 2019  (Day 8 of in-patient treatment)
Syringe feeding pellets and critical care and multivit.daily for 8 days
Oil laxative 2 ml given yesterday
Today, passed out a hard faecal lump around 3 cm long (see pic)/

3441. NATAS Travel Fair 2019

The fair today being Saturday, is quiet compared to previous years. It appeared that EU Holidays has queues waiting to be served and the company has an electronic Q system.

 

3440. Green pigeons sun on top of the trees

After exercise in the usual area which is shadier, I went to the alternative one.
More birds in this alternative exercise area at 8.15 am. There appeared to be a couple of green pigeons or 4 of them.

3439. Singapore tourism. The Esplanade on Friday Feb 22, 2019 10am- 11.30am compared to Mar 3, 2020---Covid-19 Outbreak and in 10 Jun 2022 (more tourists since reopening of borders )

Too few tourists in Mar 2020 due to Covid-19 Outbreak

in tourism is seen at The Merlion Park now.
