SINGAPORE - 4 SEP 2026: 5.50pm. The white crested laughing thrush (Garrulax leucolophus), spotted in the Yio Chu Kang Crescent forest and river bank is a sociable bird, highly gregarious and loud as it forages in noisy groups through forest and urban parks. It has a striking white hood, black eye mask and a rufous-brown lower body.
