6049. Red dragonfly in Lentor Road park



 

 

 SINGAPORE - 13 MAY 2026: 8am. Lentor Road Park. The male Scarlet Skimmer (Crocothemis servilia) is a strikingly vibrant dragonfly commonly found across tropical Asia, including the wetlands and gardens of Singapore. Mature males are easily identified by their blood-red to orangey-red bodies and distinct amber patches at the base of their wings.
