SINGAPORE - 2 APR 2026: 11.53am. An adult Oriental Garden Lizard (Calotes versicolor) is seen in Banyan Villas Playground. He displays a bright orange throat in the breeding season and measures over 10 cm (3.9 in) in length snout-to-vent. Lifespan:4-6 years. The lizard is insectivorous, feeding mainly on ants, crickets, grasshoppers, beetles, and spiders, though he may occasionally eat small vertebrates or plant matter.
