INDONESIA - 16 MAR 2026: 4.10pm. Bintan. A high-voltage transmission tower which is a structural steel lattice tower designed to support overhead electricity conductors. The structure consists of the metal lattice tower, insulators (which prevent the electricity from reaching the tower itself), and conductors (the cables that transmit the electricity). It transmits electricity from power plants to substations and eventually to consumers.
