Phalaenopsis Sogo Yukidian is a premier, award-winning white orchid hybrid known for producing large (11–12 cm), pristine, long-lasting blooms, with the 'V3' clone being particularly popular. It is a popular, robust, and easy-to-care-for indoor plant, featuring white, thick-textured flowers, sometimes with a yellow throat, and a cascading, elegant appearance.
Key Characteristics & Care Details
  • Flowers: The blooms are large (up to 12 cm), pure white, with excellent, heavy texture, appearing in large, cascading spikes (6–10 flowers per spike).
  • Blooming Season: Typically blooms in winter, with flowers that can last for over 3 months.
  • Light: Prefers bright, indirect light, ideally 1,500–2,500 lux, and should not be placed in direct sun.
  • Temperature: Thrives in warm to intermediate temperatures (
18--28C18 -- 28 raised to the composed with power C
    or
64--82F64 -- 82 raised to the composed with power F
    ).
  • Watering: Requires thorough watering, allowing the potting medium (typically sphagnum moss or bark) to dry out before watering again to prevent root rot.
  • Cultivation: Often used in, or as part of, indoor, or, patio, displays, it is prized for its elegance and longevity.
