Good morning. Shantou's Cultural District in Guangdong province is a popular tourist attraction. It was crowded on 31 May 2025. The Monkey God (Sun Wukong) actor would pose for photoshoot with tourists.
Very difficult to capture a sharp image of this mythological Monkey God as there were too many tourists moving past him. Canon R5, tv mode, 79mm, 1/1600 sec, f/4.5, ISO 800

One internet post said that the Monkey God could only be controlled by Buddha and the Jade Emperor.
