I met Haus, a German marine geologist, lean, white-haired 57-year-old man who had a mirrorless Canon R5 and a back pack of 3 lenses. He was attending a conference in Orchard Hotel and was sheltering in the sf Fruit Stall from the thunderstorm which lasted around one hour.

“Photography is expensive,” he told me. He had a Canon Adaptor so that he could re-use his non-mirrorless lenses. This was an excellent idea. He took a good photo of sf Fruit Stall. His images are backed up and seen occasionally as memories of his past. No social media postings. I posted some of mine to instagram and shutterstock.com/g/toapayohvets.
