I
met Haus, a German marine geologist, lean, white-haired 57-year-old
man who had a mirrorless Canon R5 and a back pack of 3 lenses. He
was attending a conference in Orchard Hotel and was sheltering in the
sf Fruit Stall from the thunderstorm which lasted around one hour.
“Photography is expensive,” he told me. He had a Canon Adaptor
so that he could re-use his non-mirrorless lenses. This was an
excellent idea. He took a good photo of sf Fruit Stall. His images
are backed up and seen occasionally as memories of his past. No
social media postings. I posted some of mine to instagram and
