PHOTO 2.
Smartphone OPPO. FULL MOON. Pink Moon over Lentor Estate in Singapore on 25 May 2024 around 10 pm.
Good afternoon. On 25 Apr 2024, around 10pm, I was taking photos of the "pink moon" or full moon. A lady stopped her and wanted to take a good photo with her Oppo phone. I asked her to balance her phone on my tripod to prevent shaking her phone.
She did so and captured 2 good images of the moon after touching her phone screen here and there to get rid of the bright glow of the actual moon. The moon was brighter than the street light. Somehow, her phone did remove the bright moon shine and she was most happy with the image.
I used photoshop to show that it is surprising that a smartphone can take such a good image. Other than the 2 images, she and I touched the phone screen to try to darken the moon but failed miserably. She was just happy to get the image as shown below.
