PHOTOGRAPHY TIPS:
I used Canon R5, 24-105mm lens. For photography, it is best to use AV mode if the lizard is stationary. Use TV Mode if the lizard is moving. A tripod is useful for photography or video.
The Oriental Garden Lizard (Calotes versicolor) video, produced by Dr Sing Kong Yuen, BVMS (Glasgow), aims to document wildlife in Singapore and educate the young people about wildlife conservation.

PHOTOGRAPHY TIPS: Oriental Garden Lizard on tree trunk Use TV Mode. Catchlights. Focus on eye of lizard.
If you can get
the catchlight in the lizard's eye, you will have an attractive
image.
Catchlights
in photography are the
bright, specular highlights found in a subject's eyes that are
reflections of the light source(s) used to create the portrait or
other lighting.
Oriental Garden
Lizard on a Happiness Tree, Singapore, 23 Apr 2024, 9am. A rare
sighting in 2023 and 2024 owing to habitat loss, regular insecticide
spraying, tree trimming and climate change.
Canon R5, TV, 85mm,
1/1000sec, f/4.0, ISO 640. ISO is set to AUTO – ISO 640 is due to
the darker lighting amongst the leaves.
