PHOTOGRAPHY TIPS: Passing taxi drive-by shooting of Tiananmen Square.  Use TV Mode.

 

Tiananmen Square, 6 Mar 2024, 1.38pm. Tight security owing to “Two Sessions” being held by the Communist Party - a prominent annual political event. A suggestion to drive past the square by Kat as police stopped tourists from going nearby as there were some boys and visitors cycling on the Square.
 

Image from drive-by passing taxi. I sat on the back seat, right-hand-side.

Canon R5, TV, 24mm, 1/1600 sec, f/4.0, ISO 100. 
If you use AV or Manual Mode, you will not get a sharp image as the taxi is moving past the Square.
iPhone 15 - I doubt you can get any sharp image.

Tiananmen Square had tight security owing to the hosting by the Communist Party of "Two Sessions" which is China's most prominent political event.  

Tight security. Tourists were not able to get near the Square or I don't know how to get there. Some school boys were cycling past the Square and there were a few visitors. Very clean place.

My host suggesred a taxi to drive-by the Square so that I could take some photos. This time, I was technically capable of taking sharp images from moving taxis. Image is taken from the right hind side back seat of the cab.
