A PDL holder in Singapore. A PDL (Provisional Driving Licence) holder must display two 18-cm square "L" plates on both the front and back of the motor vehicle during his driving lesson and during the driving test.
A PDL allows learner motorists or rider to take practical driving or riding lessons during the training course. But they must have passed the basic theory test.
The holder can only drive when supervised by the licensed driving instructor or the school's driving instructor.
