Admission is free. Transit visitors can educate themselves on the lifecycle of the butterfly and take fantastic pictures, including the famous waterfall. It is a must to see if you are stepping on Changi Airport.

Once you have passed through the security checks in T3, the Butterfly Garden can
be accessed from either the ground or second floors. Be careful when entering and exiting as the metal chains are in place to prevent the butterflies from flying off into the rest of the airport.

What time of day are butterflies most active?
Butterflies are easiest to spot during calm, sunny conditions around the
middle of day
 – this is when they're most active. This isn't a hard and
fast rule though. You'll see them in the early evening on hot days
and on warm, cloudy days too.
