4181. PHOTOGRAPHY of fast-moving bee sipping nectar. Use shutter priority.

PHOTOGRAPHY of fast-moving bee sipping nectar. Use shutter priority. A tripod helps a lot to get sharper image.

The Blue-banded bee (Amegilla zonata), Yio Chu Kang Road tree.  13 Sep 2023. 2.33pm

USE shutter priority. Canon R5, TV, 1/1000 sec, f/4.5, ISO 1000, 63 mm, tripod to get sharp image.

Sometimes, the photographer gets lucky. I had a tripod focused on the multiple golden yellow flowers that bloom in multiple clusters on this short roadside tree, Yio Chu Kang Road. The bee appeared suddenly to sip nectar for less than 5 seconds.
