I advised a 74-year-old thin woman bent double to consult doctors about her hunched back, getting worse by the day. 

"My colleagues told me that soon I will not be so hunched. I will not be able to work!" "Please consult the doctor at the polytechnic. You may get advices on how to prevent further hunch-back or recover. You never know unless you consult him," I said. "Try and sleep on a firm surface without the head on the pillows. Otherwise, one day, you may not be able to your head level with the floor when lying down." 

She thanked me.

She is one of the working retirees of over 70 years of age.

She is paid daily rated at the end of each month. She needs medical check up before employment and if she is much hunched, she may not be employed.

Her husband passed away some 22 years ago. "I am so fortunate to conceive at the age of 37 years old," she told me. Her son is 35 years old, the only child. Hunched back in aged people appeared to be common. What's the cause? How to prevent hunch back?
