Day 3 inpatientToa Payoh VetsThe scrotal wound (arrow) is dry. Hamster is active, eating, not licking the scrotal skin. Sent home to continue antibiotics and observation.Neuter at around 20 Oct should be routinely advised as bacterial infectionsmay become resistant to antibiotics. It is up to the owner whether to accept the advice.

Video 3 and 4. Day 3 of Inpatient at Toa Payoh Vets. Has recovered well, eating, active

However, the infections were not eliminated by the antibiotics. The bacteria must have become

resistant to the antibiotics. He had a serious swelling, like testicular torsion. He died the next day.

As spoken, the hamster is recovering under medication as this video shows the private parts not red and itchy (as it is not wet from licking). Videos are as follows:

The hamster was active on Day 3 of inpatient after medication, as shown in the Video 3 and 4.
He passed away on 17 Oct 2022, Day 4 of inpatient. As no post-mortem was done, it was not possible to know the exact cause of death.
