Singapore's first satellite town has one of the oldest population in the country. Near 25%of residents aged 65 or above said HDB, NUHS and NUS in a joint statement. 

$5m donation for pilot project to boost Queenstown residents' health. Funds used to implement sustainable programmes to help residents to stay healthy and live longer

RENTAL HOUSING - Highly subsidized public flats for those in need.

1. HDB PROVIDES highly subsidised rental flats under the

Public Rental Scheme for low-kncome households with no other housing options and no family support.

 

2. Home ownership. Public housing enables citizens to have a stake in Singapore. Generous subsidies and grants, public housing is accessible, affordable and inclusive.

4. Engaged or married couples waiting for the completion of their new HDB flats and need urgently transitional housing - rent a flat subsiized rates under the Parenthood Provisional Housing Scheme. Will double from 800 in 2021 to 1800 units by 2023

5. Open market for those who prefer to rent including singles.  Including commercial co-living options popular in recent years.

Changing aspirations of home-seekers. Will monitor evolving trends to cater to the needs of the diverse population.
