The Singapore Rhododendron (Melastoma malabathricum) in Yio
Chu Kang Cres forest in July 2022. It thrives in nature reserves and
public parks and gardens. The most common colour od the flowers are
light pink-purple with elbowed anthers surrounding the style. There
is the white flower rarely seen.
