The dog was not itchy when fed an anti-allergic therapeutic diet like Hill's Z/D for the past year. However, 3-4 days ago, she ate mutton dropped onto the floor and got very itchy eyelids. Kept rubbing till they are bald. The owner came today. The dog was very nervous about me touching her eyelids. Treatment is by ear irrigation, plucking ear hairs and anti-inflammatory injection.
