2 years ago, the dog passed blood in the urine. X-ray showed multiple small stones and urine pH was alkaline.

Hill's C/D was advised for at least 6 months. The owner fed it for one month and did not come back for reviews or follow up.

Now in Mar 7, 2019, the pug had difficulty urinating. He screamed before he could pee, motivating the owner to seek surgery for stone removal. A big intact stone of around 1 cm across was taken out from the bladder. Over 9 smaller stones from the flushing into the bladder of urethral stones and small pieces inside the bladder are recovered.
