3297. The 14-year-old Jack Russell had seizures today. Previous perineal hernia.

14-year-old, good body conditioned Jack Russell
Sudden seizure - vomit some blood.
Rectal temperature below normal  37.5C


Sep 28, 2018. Passed away. Heart sounds not audible. Suspected pericardial fluid surrounded the heart.
Negative for heart worm, Anaplasma, Babesia, Ehrlichia and Lyme Disease
Blood test Total white cell count high, neutrophilia high. Bacterial infections. Stressed by new baby and cat?  Past week, went to hide when he saw the leash taken to bring him out for exercise.




Feb 2013
Had perineal hernia (left dorsal) repaired. Advised neuter to prevent recurrence.
Did not want to do so.

Dec 2013. 2nd hernia repair.
Perineal hernia recurred 10 months later. 
Neuter


2014. Dental scaling.
2016 - 2018 owner went to USA to work.
2018 - Brought home a cat from USA. Baby 8 months. Dog affected.
