I met the highly energetic Ms Lynda Goh in 2008 when she requested my help to relocate 21 dogs from Yishun, Singapore to NANAS, Johor. Some images are shown:
In 2018, Singapore has around 80 animal welfare groups, according to Ms Lynda Goh from Noah's Ark, NANAS, Johor.

She had been a volunteer with NANAS since 2002. I met her when she requested veterinary help to relocate the Khatib Bongsu dogs in Yishun to NANAS some years ago.

Terms and conditions
1. Malaysian side. Needs a AVA health certificate before permiting import.
2. Singapore side. AVA issues a licence to export the dog to Malaysia with a vet health certificate from the AVA-approved private veterinarian.
In this case, it is from Dr Sing Kong Yuen of Toa Payoh Vets. The licence issued is valid for 7 days and accepted by the Malaysian Immigration for the dog to enter Malaysia.
3. NANAS has an orientation program for new arrivals to get them used to communal living and obedience trained for "recall" when they are roaming free .
4. Fees payable for moving the dog to NANAS from Singapore around $500.
5. Fees monthly for the maintenance of the dog is around $200 compared to more than $600 in Singapore. .

The licence issued is valid
for 7 days. If the licence has expired, there may be "requests" for the
vet to issue another valid one without physical examination of the
dog on compassionate grounds or expediency. This is dishonest professional misconduct. The dog needs to be examined again.
