1313. Rabbit with breast tumours. How much to operate?

Hi Doc,

Three years ago I brought my rabbit to your clinic to clear matted fur. Now I want to bring it to you for treatment again. Rabbit is diagnosed with cancerous breast tumour abt 2cm size. This vet near my house is young and inexperienced, and he quoted 800 to 1k for the surgery!!!! May i kn approximately how much for u to perform such surgery? Need your kind advise please.

1) Just to update you, my rabbit passed away peacefully already, you were right, cannot go more than 3 months.

2) I have a 8 months old small breed female pup that I think should get her sterilised by you, the cost is about how much ?? when is the right time? should i wait till after her first heat???

Thank you for email. Spay of female puppy small breed is around $$200-$250. 8 months should be OK for spaying or 2 months after first heat.
