3326. Juvenile mynah and parrot eating Rose Apples in pruned tree - May 16, 2019 Thu

May 16, 2019. Thu

A SURPRISING  MORNING OF JUVENILE DOVE, MYNAH AND PARROT
It was a bright blue sky sunny morning at around 7.30 am today.

Two juvenile spotted doves were outside my neighour's house on the road side. They did not fly away on seeing me, as if I was invisible. Took 2 images.

I drove straight to the Rose Apple tree which is an hour's walk, as my leg muscles are tired from previous days' long walks.

On reaching the Rose Apple tree, I saw some birds circling a tall tree. Then they landed (an image)

Junvenile mynahs and green parrot with black stripped red neck seen pecking and eating Rose Apple hidden inside tree. Safer for them in case of predators.

Rainy morning. Went to SGH with J to check her ingrown toe. Podiatrist scrapped her nail bed to check and clear dead cells.  "No pus," she said. "No photography of her procedures!".

3323. May 14, 2019. Oriental Garden seen 3rd time. May 13, 19 Esplanade butterflies and merlion

Tue May 14, 2019
Long walk to the rose apple tree. Sounds of birds hidden in branches eating the apples. Not able to photograph them. Soon 3 young brightly coloured blue, red, green parrots shot out and flew away. Not possible to take photos.

Saw two butterflies fluttering but not stopping for my photography. A movement on the grass. It was the 3rd Oriental Garden Lizard I saw. It climbed up the tree.

Afternoon, Waterwave Point with Mandy and Punggul Sea food dinner with Frances and Mandy.
Lightning and thunder.

May 7, 2019

During my morning exercise, sunlight shone onto this stationary lizard on a tree.

The lizard saw me

May 12, 2019
I didn't expect any lizard. Saw a movement and this lizard, smaller than earlier one, was seen. He tried to hide behind the tree out of my view or climb up the tree. Looking for insects in this tree.

3321. Nature stories. Sat May 10 2019. Hole in grass area

Today is a Saturday.  I left at 7am to exercise. Bright. Sun has not risen abve roof of houses.A long slim bodied bird flew by. Looked like a crow. It flew to a tree opp the canal. I sstepped onto the grassy area forward to the railing to get a closer view.

My left leg slipped  into a hole to my knee level. No leg fracture or injuries. I was shocked.

The bird has red eyes n white polka dots. Light brown.

Several young pink necked green pigeons active flying to and fro. 3 of them chased each other if tree top. Or a couple perched inside the tree.

3320. INTERN. A 20-month-old dwarf hamster has large smelly tumours in the nose, face and ears.

May 9, 2019. Thursday.

This case study shows that the dwarf hamster has suffered a lot by scratching its body flanks bald and its large tumours till they bleed for the past 2-3 weeks as the tumours grow explosively large.

The tumours were very smelly as they were severely infected.

VIDEOS X 3

 INTERN
To produce a short educational video without most of the gory surgical procedures. Use a short footage of electro-surgery without blood seen.

TIPS FOR HAMSTER OWNERS
Do not delay seeking veterinary surgery to remove the tumours when they are much smaller as they do grow large, become bleeding, infected and smelly. The hamster will die from infections.
