2388. Myanmar travel stories: Dr Thin Thin Soe

Dec 5 to 14, 2015. I was in Yangon and Hinthada, Myanmar.
Dr Thin Thin Soe and Dr Thein Tun Aung had sponsored the following: Revitalisation of the pagoda with gold paint on Dec 11, the shaving of hair and becoming a monk for 3 days by Dr Thein Tun Aung, the Head Monk's birthday on Dec 12 with celebration shared with monks in the monastery, invited guests and any member of the public. Food is sponsored by them.

Dec 10 - 13, Dr Thein Tun Aung becomes a monk for 3 days. Hair shaving and ceremony in washing the face of Buddha. At 3 am, we went to a most beautiful pagoda to perform the ceremony
