SINGAPORE - 15 APR 2026: 9.58am. Yio Chu Kang Crescent forest. The Orange Sharpshooter (Bothrogonia addita) is a vibrant orange and black leafhopper. It has piercing and sucking mouthparts used to feed on plant sap. It is often found perched on plant stems or leaves. This insect is agile and moves quickly.

Trumpet Tail (Acisoma panorpoides) dragonfly. The male is blue with dark markings as in this image. The females are light green.

 SINGAPORE - 14 APR 2026: 9.40am. The Tailless Lineblue (Prosotas dubiosa) has a brownish or grey underside which has waxy and silvery striations and an eyespot (Ocellus) in the hindwing.

Bright red from head to tail including his eyes. A thin dark line running along the top centre of the abdomen. Males are highly territorial and are often seen perching on plant tips to guard their territory. .
