One of my neighbours at Lentor Plain has grown a healthy pomegranate shrub on the kerbside garden. It is around 2 metres tall, common height in local shrubs grown in private houses. In one country overseas, I did see a pomegranate tree as tall as 5 metres.

The dwarf pomegranate (Punica granatum var. nana) is a compact, bushy shrub reaching just 60 to 120 cm (2-4 feet) in height. It produces vibrant orange-red flowers and miniature, 2.5-5 cm (1-2 inch) edible fruits, making it an excellent choice for containers, bonsai, or small spaces in Singapore's tropical climate.
