PHOTOGRAPHY TIPS: Use TV Mode if breezy

25 May 2023. Lentor Estate back garden which is public land. Near Lentor Modern condo construction.  Breeze. I used a tripod, Canon R5, 24-100 mm lens.
TV Mode  100mm focal length. 1/1000 sec, f/4.5, ISO AUTO (800 in this case).
Focus on flower

The butterfly blue pea is popular in the making of tea and in providing the purplish blue colours to rice in Singapore

The butterfly blue pea flower in real life lives in  an unhealthy environment
The other image (photoshopped) looks great, with the veins of the leaves in focus.

1. Use tripod to get sharp veins of leaves - breezy, hand-held shakiness.
2. Shaded area but bright sunny day.
3. No direct sunlight on leaves.
4. Take more than 10 images.
5. 10 am in Lentor Street, flower was outside the private house on public walkway.

The butterfly blue pea flower in real life hanged outside a pavilion in the Somme Road Playground, seen on 9 December, 2022 at 10AM.

1. I used a tripod to get sharp veins of leaves - breezy, hand-held shakiness.
2. Shaded area but bright sunny day.
3. No direct sunlight on leaves.
4. Take more than 10 images.
5. 10 am in Lentor Street, flower was outside the private house on public walkway.

4224. School performances to celebrate Christmas

6 DEC 2022:
St Bernadette's Castle Hills school in Sydney, Australia put up a great performance for parents and guests.  Students are from kindergarten to year 6. Age from 5 to 13.  There are quite a few Asians in this school which has various nationalities with the majority being Caucasians.

AUSTRALIA - 18 NOV 2022: In 2017, the Melbourne tramway network consists of 250 km of double track, 493 trams, 24 routes, and 1,763 tram stops. It is the world's largest operational urban tram network.
A young lady uses the smartphone Huawei p30 to take this photo. she took 2 photos only. I crop it to show the tram only.

Bright daylight helps a lot in getting sharp images in smartphones.

SHARING PHOTOGRAPHY TIPS

Orchard Road Christmas light-up 2022is the 39th "Christmas on a great street" theme. This year, more decorations and money spent.
Tripod is needed. Canon R5. F/16 gives you a sharp overall view. If you use F/5.6, background is blurry. Now you can see "Hilton" on Hotel Hilton. You must use a tripod as your hands will be shaking.

I travel in packaged tours. No time to linger as the tour group moved fast..
I used Canon D70. P Mode. This image out of 6 looks sharp.
P Mode sets the ISO, shutterspeed and F data automatically.
Too slow, the packaged tour people will not wait for you!

I took a different angle of the SIA plane.

It was a wide-bodied Singapore Airlines plane parked at Schiphol Airport, Netherlands. A bright sunny day in Spring.

The blue plane in the distance is the KLM Royal Dutch Airlines - a clue that that the airport is in the Netherlands.
