PHOTOGRAPHY TIPS - 15 SEP 2022.

Four Common Rose butterflies (Pachliopta aristolochiae) are photographed near one flower at the Butterfly Garden in Terminal 3, Changi Airport, Singapore at 7 AM on 15 Sep 2022. I took more than 10 shots continuously to get one sharp image of one of the 4 Common Rose butterflies. I supported Canon R5 on a shelving to get sharp image and shot in continuously >10 shots just to get one good sharp image. Canon R5 said to focus on eyes of wildlife as its selling point.

1. Canon R5. Probably AV or TV Mode. Continuous. 8th of 8 shots can see the eyes. But needed complex photoshopping to get more "Details" and sharpness. Unlikely to be accepted by shutterstock.

SINGAPORE - 14 SEP 2022: A pair of new walking shoes with shoe laces tied properly. This procedure prevents the feet being shifted inside the shoes during long walks leading to sprain and toe pain. I stood outside the show case of a shoe shop which had its spot lights.
Indoor lighting from outside a shoe shop in Junction 8 shopping mall. 

I hung the Canon R5 strap over my neck and lowered my camera to the lowest level possible.
Watched images of shoes on the LCD (Liquid Crystal Display) screen.
Focused on shoe label of left shoe.
Touched the LCD screen (enabled) so that the photo is taken when the LCD screen is touched. I need not press shutter.  Did more than 9 shots. 1/9 was sharper. AV Mode, f/8, ISO 400

as owner is worried. Ate at home.

 

 

 

29 NOV 2021. Paddling and anorexia. No big eggs in X-ray. Not eating pellets. Ate 3 cooked prawns.Some poo in water. Still paddling and anorexic. Why?

 

TANK TOO SMALL

 

 

3 Dec 2021. Back to normal.

 

 

 

 

8 DEC 2021.  Video. Grass exercise.  Paddling and don't eat. Has tendency to constipation.

 

 

1 JAN 2022. Back to normal.

 

 

25 JAN 2022. Paddling. No eggs laid. NEW tank. 

2 FEB 2022. HAPPY LUNAR NEW YEAR. No more paddling. Eats a lot.

 

 

5 JUN 2022. Normal. Eats a lot. No paddling. No UV light. Hailey water filter. Work from office, so outdoor grass exercise on weekends. Usually swim in water or walk around the house.

 

 

 

11 JUL 2022. Video. Hyperactive, Does not want to stay in water in tank. Paddling and anorexia for 1 week.  I advised outdoor exercises. She ate after exercises. No further complaint.

 

 

 

12 SEP 2022. Video. No more paddling. Eats a lot.

MANAGEMENT - advices from Dr Sing Kong Yuen to stop leg paddling (2nd time) in Sep 2022.
Sep 2022: Red-eared slider. F, 3.5 years old. 3 kg

 

 

1. Bigger water tank with sufficient space to swim. Previous water tank was crammed.
2. Basking area is needed for red-eared sliders to dry out. She uses pink stool.
3. Water filtration. Hailea RP400 internal filter bought from pet shop on level 4 NEX mall
4. No UV lighting used in this case. Window sunlight. Morning or afternoon. 30-60 min.
5. Feeding of Nutrafin pellets. 100 per day.  No prawn or chicken meat as she will not eat pellets after that.
Multivitamin and calcium from Toa Payoh Vets smeared onto 5 pellets per day.
6. Outdoor grass land exercise and sunshine. Appetite is good after exercise.

 

12 SEP 2022. Video. No more paddling. Eats a lot.

When the top of the cumulus clouds looks like the head of a cauliflower, it is called cumulus congestus or towering cumulus.

These clouds grow upward and they can develop into giant cumulonimbus clouds, which produce thunderstorms.

JEWEL CHANGI AIRPORT LEVEL 4. Sunny. 1 PM. 

1. Support your phone on a ledge or railing. In this case, I placed it on top of the Canon R5 camera which was on a TRIPOD. 

2. Ensure no movement of your hand as you hold the phone upright. 

3. Ensure vertical and horizontal lines are normal. 

4. Start video. 

5. Most people hand holds the phone and take the video. Waterfall drops may turn out not to be sharp as hand movements shake the lens.
