3429. Print On Demand. Why 99% of people fail on Redbubble? Holden Blaize's 7 tips

From TheMoneyGame

7 reasons in Part 2.

1. Simple text-based designs work, not complicated ones. Research other success but not copy them. Create your own.

2. Under-rated products e.g. greeting cards-less competition. Eg Christmas greeting cards.

3. Big niches - big keywords  e.g. funny T-shirts ---3M results. Many competitors.  e.g. Doctor 140,000 results. Straight path to failure. Goto smaller subniches...eyesight...opthalmologist 700 results.

4. *Trending feature. Search trending keywords. Type "a". see 3 ticks = trending keywords. Find a trend that has low competition.

5. *Not using collections.  Newbie based on one niche. Disappointed. Create a store that covers various niches. user friendly. create collections that feature different niches.

5.1  Not correct profit margins. Increase profit margins.  Usually 20%. Use 100% e.g. stickers and greeting cards. Start at 80%.

Sub-niche not so competitive to increase chances of getting sales. Eg. stickers, greeting cards.

His Card Style  4" x 6" Greeting Card Margin 100%. his margin US$14.57

His sticker  Size small. 3.0 x 3.2 inch. Margin. 120%

6. Redbubble releases new products, not automatically activated. Do it yourself. Always check your store. Eg. "fitted masks" is a recent one. Activate asap.

7. Research what is doing well on Redbubble. Not do blindly. Search bar...

"Best selling...  "Most relevant'

see what is already selling well. Items that pop us on first page...sells well. Create your own unique style. Tags, titles.  Research is fundamental and important.

-----------------------

5 reasons in Part 1.

1. Most people have no patience and consistency. Put up as many designs as you can.

2.  Activate all your designs.

3. Not upload enough designs. 100 designs.
connect RB account to google analytics. see video.

4. Different niches. Eg. cats is each own niche. Dinosaurs. If that niche does well, go to T Public---create a pod shop.  Important to try out a large number of niches...goto POD. Test out niches.

5.  Don't treat POD store like a business. e.g. appearance of shop. logos and banners matching. Own USP. Give a shop its personality. Customer service as a shop owner....

pre-set MESSAGES E.G. THANK YOU FOR purchasing my shop as an independent creator.  Messenger search customise designs for you

Take it seriously.

7 Things I Wish I Knew Before Starting Print On Demand - POD Strategies For Beginners 2020 Print On Demand Tutorial - Strategies For Success Welcome back to Modern Entrepreneur! In this video I discuss print on demand tips and tricks that I wish I had learned before starting this online business. If you are interested in how to sell t-shirts online or how to make money from print on demand this will be a very valuable video for you. I will be sharing my knowledge that i have amassed after starting print on demand about 6 months ago. Through this print on demand tutorial you will know how to perfect your POD clothing brand and sell more t-shirts. These print on demand strategies will help give you a head start when you put your first designs on Teespring, Redbubble and Etsy. However, they can not guarantee success as you have to put a lot of time into starting your first print on demand store and of course don't forget to take action!

TIPS

1. No need to spend money on quality designs from Fiver. A lot of T shirts that sell have catchy words e.g. "What's stopping?", "Me"

Typorama - royalty free. Do not need to buy pro version yet.
Canva.com    - An "adobe-like" platform. Do NOT use exact software. Create. for multiple niches.

2. Upload on as many platforms as possible. Teespring + Redbubble + Printful for Etsy. Redbubble enerates sale same products double sales.

*3. Making high quality images.
Font Size as big as possible.

Canva. Highest resolution.  5000x5000 px

*4. Photo resizer images.

Create quality mock up. Person wearing it. Better strategy to subscribe to placeit.net.

*5. Add a lot of related keywords boost SEO. Not listing in a line. Write engaging content in a paragraph.  Viewers can read and learn about the product.

rename all files with the keywords as well. beneficial for SEO. Time consuming. Use your judgment.

6. Use social media. Create niche social media page. Eg. dog instagram page. Post cute dog photos. then throw in one advert.

7. Do not use FB ads.  No sales from POD. Unless you have best selling product or expert in FB adv.

* MORE INFORMATION
The Malay Staff Sergeant (Athyma reta moorei)

30 Oct 2020. NATURE STORIES by Dr Sing Kong Yuen. SOME BUTTERFLIES ARE HARD WORKING EVEN WHEN IT IS VERY HOT AND HUMID. Athyma reta moorei butterfly.

The Esplanade-Theatres On The Bay’s Forecourt Garden has less than 5 species of butterflies at any one time when I visit. Many flowers but few butterflies and bees. Probably too much human spraying of insecticide and fogging to maintain a garden with flowers.

1 p.m. Very hot and humid. Bright sunshine. Blue skies. Most Singaporeans would be sheltered indoors if they have the choice. I thought all butterflies would be inactive when I went to the Forecourt Garden to look for them as my on-going project is to photograph butterflies and Oriental Garden Lizards in Singapore.

Wow, I had to correct my misconceptions. A rare sighting of a beautiful butterfly that just fluttered in front of me and did a dance. An uncommon butterfly in Singapore---The male Malay Staff Sergeant (Athyma reta moorei). I had not seen it before in The Esplanade or in Yio Chu Kang Crescent’s secondary forest---my two most frequented places for Nature photography.

This MALE butterfly did not dash away as most do. It hung around the flowers near me as if it wanted to and did an afternoon dance performance for me!

REFERENCE: The Malay Staff Sergeant (Athyma reta moorei) is an uncommon butterfly in Singapore. The video here shows a male which is brown. The female is yellowish orange in colour.
