SINGAPORE - 22 MAR 2026: 11.52am. A police dog patrol inside the Orchard MRT Station as an anti-vaping measure. Vaping is strictly illegal in Singapore. As of May 1, 2026, new, stricter laws make it illegal to buy, use, possess, import, or distribute electronic vaporizers (e-cigarettes, vapes). Fines for using or possessing vapes can reach up to $10,000, while importers and sellers face significantly higher penalties, including jail.
