Very rarely do I see a case of enamel hypoplasia in a dog in Singapore in my past 40 years of small animall practice. It is like finding a treasure
"Most likely due to an abnormal development of the teeth," I showed the first-time owner of this adopted one-year-old Golden Retriever the defects in the tips of the crown of all the teeth of his dog.
"Any drugs to give? What to do?"
"In dogs, there is no treatment. In people, there may be some materials to cover the crown
A blood test showed the only abnormality was an increase in serum urea at 16.6 (4.2-6.3).
