A LARGE ELBOW TUMOUR IRRITATES THE DOG.
HOW DOES THE VET REMOVE IT? USE Z-PLASTY.

This veterinary educational video for pet owners and vet students shows the beneficial use of Z-plasty to stitch up a large elbow skin tumour (benign cutaneous histiocytoma) instead of the traditional stitching up of the large circular wound after excision of the skin tumour.

  1.  Video ½.  This video is WITHOUT narration is created from a case study at Toa Payoh Vets in 2019.

FEMALE FANCY RATS DO DEVELOP MAMMARY TUMOURS. WHAT TO DO?

Fancy Rats do develop mammary tumours. What to do? Video 1/2

There are two videos. This is video 1/2 with no narration showing the good  surgical outcome. The rat did not have recurrence of the tumour and  lived to an old age. This rat had a gigantic mammary gland tumour excised at Toa Payoh Vets in 2015.

Early surgery would have been preferred to lower anaesthetic and bleeding risks as a gigantic tumour takes a much longer time to operate, increasing the risk of death on the operating table.

Two videos are created from a case study at Toa Payoh Vets in 2015.
