Dr Daniel had treated yesterday. Irrigated the bladder to remove sand particles. Blood test and urine test on 4 Feb 2021.
CONSULT VIDEO
Blood test. High urea 15.23 (7.30 - 10.80), Creatinine 189 (71-160) are abnormal findings. Urine test pH 6.5 ( 5 to 8)
Protein 3+ (negative, Blood 4+ (negative) Bacteria +. No crystals (It does not mean there are no urinary stones).
Complaint that the urinary catheter had come off. Examined. Prepuce much swollen. Minimise swollen prepuce by observing cat urination after antibiotic injection and anti-inflammatory.
Hi Toa Payoh vets, I have a 18-month-old female hamster who recently has been walking weirdly and is getting worse. Appetite is still good. However, we noted the hind legs tend to look stiff. We are looking if there is a possibility for walk in tomorrow at 9.30am
4 Feb 2021 examination. Not obvious, but right hind leg was not supporting the body weight when she ran.
32g bodyweight. Thin. Normal weight is around 45 g to 50 g.

The
young couple was concerned that the 18-month-old female dwarf hamster
was clumsy on the hind legs, as if she has stiff hind limbs. My
assistant would give her comments: “Nothing wrong with this
hamster!” after watching the active hamster moving about inside the
box. Many older nurses and assistants do love to diagnose too.
Yet
the owners know better as they have had observed the hamster for a
week. They WhatsApp me 3 video clips. Now, I have had the hamster

I had the hyperactive hamster anesthesized. I used my digital
camera to take close up photos to show the couple that the hamster
did have a wound on the right hind leg on the knee area and inflamed
right hind paw.
In conclusion, “show and tell” is a
better method than just tell the hamster owners that the hamster had
some lameness, not noticeable. This hamster was hyperactive and
climbed the “platform” many times a day. She jumped off the
platform and went to the exercise wheel. She could have had slipped
off the platform and injured her right knee---leading to hind limb
stiffness and clumsiness.
My advice is NOT to have that green
platform as the hamster climbs up and jumps down many times a day. It
could have led to the hamster falling or landing incorrectly and
injuring his joints or tendons of the four limbs. There was A MISSING LADDER going up the platform when I researched the product image. Hence the hamster had to literally pull herself up with her forelimbs many times over many weeks to walk on the platform and jumped done over many weeks---injuring her back, hence stiff hind limb gait.

Radiology is an essential tool for any practitioner working with rabbits. Due to their stressful temperament and keen ability to hide disease, thorough and careful examination including radiographs is warranted. Rabbits are particularly predisposed to dental disease, and skull radiographs can detect lesions unlikely to be observed during physical examination. Radiographs also serve as an important tool for grading dental disease and are valuable in providing accurate prognosis to clients

The Striped Blue Crow butterfly posed for me for over 3 minutes and so I was able to take photographs and do videos.
The butterfly is medium-sized and uncommon. I had not seen it for the past 3 years in Yio Chu Kang but saw this species for 1 morning last month and 2 consecutive days this month.
When the male folds his wings, the iridescent blue forewing attracts attention. See video:

I would like to enquire regarding my cat. He is around 2 years old and recently some part of his skin been balding. It happened to the mom & brother afterwards but it wasn't so bad as his. Please refer to the attached photo below. Would really appreciate if you could advise on what are the possible cause or sickness that my cat is going through, and also what to do & if there's a need to visit the vet around how much it would cost?
