1120. Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History - science, facts & evidence. National Museum of Singapore in 2024.

Hilton Gaithersburg  Rm 316, 6.05 am

Yesterday, I visited The Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History. Evolution of man and animals is detailed and much interesting. The Earth is around 3 billion years old, Man is around 3 million years old from evolution. The racehorse evolved from earlier ones with shorter molars.
Climate changes and disasters led to new species.

Hard Science, facts and evidence are presented. So, is there a Creator of life? A Destroyer of life?

SMARTPHONE PHOTOGRAPHY TIPS: Tripod for evening shots of the national museum building.

iPhone 13 Pro Max. Evening @ Natonal Museum of Singapore by Shan.

Use the “rule of thirds” to get a good image. 1/3 should be on the dome of the museum.

Nice image --- No distracting tourists.

As the evening lighting is low compared to afternoon, a tripod will be good as the image will be sharper.
Shan took 3 images. Only 1/3 is a bit sharper. Needs photoshop sharpening.

GOOGLE REVIEW  4 STARS.

Smartphones can create excellent photos of buildings, much more useful and easier than DSLR cameras. However, smartphones do not take good shots in low lighting in the evening. A tripod will be useful as the handheld phone may be shaky.

Shan took 3 images with iPhone 13 Pro Max.
